Holy Gelato

Delicious ice cream (with vegan options too!) and a reasonable price. Varieties of cones (for extra). This place is about the same price as the nearby dessert places but this is more cozy. I ordered the mint chipmunk and the chocolate chips were decently sized and it was very minty. The sorbets they had on stock were also nicely tart but not too tart.They also open until 10pm so it's a great place for an after dinner snack.

Super friendly staff and great options. The only reason I gave 4 stars because I was dying for a soy latte and they were out of soy with no other options for replacement.

Nice little dessert spot around the Irving St business district. Comfy and cozy space to enjoy some delicious gelato and people watch by the big windows. They have a large selection of dairy based gelato flavors as well as 12, count em, 12 vegan, non-dairy gelato flavors. The vegan gelatos are made with coconut milk as well as flavors made with soy milk.The staff are friendly and you can sample up to 2 flavors...a few more if they aren't busy! The vegan gelato was rich and creamy. Can't wait to try them all.

This place offered many vegan gelato options. The good thing is they weren’t just basic flavors either. Small establishment with a great atmosphere.

Enjoyed my time at Holy Gelato! for its wonderful vegan ice cream options, good service, and great music! As soon as I heard Tommy’s Party by Peach Pit, I just had to send him my compliments for the playlist he was playing during my stay. I had a lovely experience. I got a small sized split scoop of the Chocolate Mexicano and Coconut Cream(?). I really love the coconut flavored one 💛 Will definitely to go back for split scoops and to ask which Sweet Beats playlist is his on Spotify!

The ice cream was great, but they only let you sample two flavors. They have so many, that limiting you to two is kind of silly.

Great place for dessert after a night out of eating. Lots of yummy unqiue and classic flavors to choose from. There is about 6 tables for small groups to sit back and relax. There's also a healthy selection of books to read if you want to just hang around solo.

Best selection of gelato in the city. They even have vegan flavors. My favorite is the honey lavender. I know it sounds strange, but it's very tasty. They even just added about ten flavors of rice pudding. Yummy!

Did not like the gelato. The flavors I tried were very sugary. I got once scoop of salted caramel, tasted like candy. Unfortunately, my gelato had a foreign piece of paper in the gelato. The lady was kind enough to offer a replacement, but didn’t want to waste the gelato since I wasn’t a fan. Hopefully others have a better experience!

The guy working the register was very kind. I got a small Tiramisu. Tasty and not too strong in flavor, very smooth.

Great neighborhood gelato place. My go to flavors are the goat cheese, lavander and the blood orange sorbet...another reason I like this placeis that I can bring my vegan friends because they have amazing choices

We enjoyed great gelato here, there is a nice choice of flavours and plenty of vegan options. I just can't rate highly due to the use of disposable plastic ice cream pots, a bizarre choice for a vegan gelato shop in 2019. Please change these.

Wonderful Gelato.. atmosphere a.little chaotic..and for sale items make no sense...but the gelato is wonderful and there are tons of choices of flavors..group of 4 I was with we're all happy with their particular choices..

Lots of options for all palates & dietary preferences, including vegan options. Both sweet & decadent options (eg variety of fudgey, caramely, or chocolatey options) as well as for the more discerning, sophisticated connoisseurs, such as green tea, lychee, or coconut — or a goat cheese gelato that pairs wonderfully with a strawberry gelato .

The gelato was amazing!! I tried their raspberry and mango gelato.

Many vegan ice cream options but most of them are sorbet types. Most of the flavors were out too.

The coconut cream vegan ice cream was ridiculously delicious Roughly 8 dollars for largest size

Best ice cream of my life, no question. The waffle cone is amazing. The staff was super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful! I loved that they had blankets to use if you wanted to go eat your ice cream on the grass in front of the store. Very cute and welcome touch.I will be here way more often than my waistline will like.

They have a lot of options to choose from

I was really excited to try their vegan ice cream and it was decent! They have a lot of variety, but I wasn't blown away by any of the flavors. I went for creamy ice cream instead, and got the honey lavender and oreo ice cream. Both were pretty good. It was kind of strange that the lady helping us kept getting our orders confused... even though we were the only ones in the shop.

Absolutely incredible gelato! And the first time I've ever seen vegan gelato; they had an entire case of both soy and coconut milk-based gelato. they also have a quaint little sitting area in the front or you can hang out and enjoy the deliciousness. Can't wait for my next trip!

Came here for both of my kids. Especially more vegan options for my daughter. Perfect mini sizes is all that you need. Friendly service. Will definitely be coming back!

Delicious gelato, good prices, and free samples! Only suggestion I would have would be to rotate their flavors more often. I have seen the exact same flavors here for 2+ years.

This small gelato shop is tucked in between other businesses and can easily be missed. They have a small selection of flavors, nothing extremely different or new. I found that it was ok, not as rich as other places in flavor and texture.

Great homemade gelato! I enjoy coming to this place often because of their creamy vegan options. They offer chocolate, cookies and cream, coconut, peanut butter and chocolate, mint chocolate, and others. They keep rotating the flavors so it keeps things interesting every time I visit.

Ice cream is subpar, service is trash. The guy gave me and my boyfriend attitude for trying 4 flavors and asking for a spoon.

Gelato is good, but I just can't get past the use of disposable plastic cups. It seems incongruous to me to tout the environmental benefits of veganism and then serve in plastic.
